A fruit forward style of Pinot which presents an earthy Tobacco nose with hints of sap, integrated with elegant tannins and a well-rounded palate of red current, dark cherry & soft savoury spice. Best paired with dishes such as a veal ragu and roasted crispy skinned duck.
WINE TECH
Hand picked fruit from cane pruned vines. The blend consists of D2V5, G5V15, D5V12 and MV6 Pinot Noir clones.
Majority of the fruit was destemed prior to fermentation with 10% remaining on whole bunch.
All the clones were fermented individually and remained seperate in french oak bariques for 9 month to develope their own uniqueness before blending together in tank and cross flowing prior to bottling.
